In the spring of 2010 I spent several months researching and installing a solar electric system on the roof of my studio-house. The 4.5Kw photovoltaic system supplies twice the electricity that we use, so we are providing green power to our neighbors.   Now all Mouse Works hats are made with 100% solar power!
